Ortman Family Wittstrom Vineyard Paso Robles Petite Sirah – 2006 – 9.0 - James Meléndez / Jaime Patricio Meléndez
Paso Robles is showing consistent high quality wines. This wine has a beautiful structure encapsulating honeyed and herbaceous notes with noticeable acid and finishing with scents of cedar and fallen leaves.

Rino has been off all summer recovering from ACL surgery and doesn't have to go back until October. I made him go out to Sonoma to help out some wineries (my uncles hook-ups) with harvest. He'll be out there a total of 2 1/2 weeks (only 1 week to go). He totally misses the kids but I told him that he's doing it for their future (ok... our future). He needs some winery experience on his resume so we can move out there some day!
